Cancelling Your Tour Place

If you want or need to cancel your booking and the Tour is less than 8 weeks away, we will already have incurred costs on your booking and may have to make deductions. We are always ready to discuss these situations.

If we have accepted your Final Payment prior to your cancelling, we will only apply cancellation charges to your Deposit payment. We will refund your Final Payment in full.

Cancellation Charges

If you want or need to cancel your booking and the Tour is less than 8 weeks away, we will already have incurred costs on your booking and will have to make deductions. We apply the following table of Deposit Payment Cancellation Charges:

Deposit Payment – A Deposit is payable when you book, no less than 2 months before your Tour Start Date.

Between 8 weeks and 6 weeks
Between 6 Weeks to 4 weeks
Between 4 Weeks to 2 weeks
Cancellation Charge – %age of Deposit Paid
20% of your Tour Deposit
60% of your Tour Deposit
100% or your Tour Deposit

If we have accepted your Final Payment prior to your cancelling, we will only apply cancellation charges to your Deposit payment. Your Final Payment will be refunded in full. We only apply cancellation charges to Deposit payments.

“No Show”

Refunds will not be paid if you fail to arrive for your Tour.
If you think you may be late or delayed, try to contact us; bring your mobile phone and if it is possible and sensible, we will try to arrange a rendezvous ‘further up the road’.
We recommend that you try to arrive at least a day early for your Tour.

Mid-Tour Departure

No refund can be paid if a person leaves or is dismissed from the Tour mid-way. Additional motorcycle transfer costs are liable to be deducted from your Motorcycle Security Deposit, should you leave the Tour mid-way.

If We Cannot Run Your Tour

If we are unable to run your Tour or have to cancel it due to unforseen circumstances (e.g. civil unrest, natural disasters), we will offer a suitable equivalent tour or we will refund your Payments in Full. We will inform you as soon as we know that we will be unable to run a tour.

Route Or Accommodation Changes

It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your Tour, but some arrangements have to be planned several months in advance. Occasionally, we may have to make minor changes, for example to ‘stop-overs’. If routes become blocked and impassable we may have to make significant route changes. We reserve the right to do within reason.

We try wherever possible to accommodate serious changes in circumstance. Natural disasters, landslides, heavy snowfall or civil or political disturbance may call for a change in route.
