Additional Notes

Singles - Singles can opt for a single room for an additional fee of € 50. But generally we put singles of the same gender together sharing a twin room (or a double + single bed room).

Pre – Post Tour - Arrangements can be made for additional days before and after the planned Tour dates including escorted transfer to the scheduled Tour hotel. Additional transfer and hotel room fees will be charged pro-rata.

Reality Check

Toughness / Climate Rating - The route from Srinagar and beyond the pass to Jammu is tough and will demand your best riding skills! But thereafter this is very rewarding and exhilarating ride. Towards Dalhousie and beyond is a joy! The rewards of such amazing views en-route down into the Kangra Valley make it well worth the ride. The hill roads of HP. and Utt. are not congested.

However because this region is largely under-developed as regards 'comfortable tourism', the accommodation can be 'interesting' - clean and basic, might best describe it.

Domestic transfers will involve a flight from Delhi to Srinagar and at the end an comfortable overnight sleeper-train from the railhead near Nainital to Delhi.
