Geoff and Peter Tour Ladakh and Kashmir August 2006 Geoff and Peter toured from Delhi to Delhi through Shimla, Leh, Srinagar, Dharamsala and Chandigarh. Touring for nearly 4 weeks during September 2006, we covered nearly 3000kms.

We rode from the capital Delhi through two states and back again. It was Geoff's first time in Asia; he said he had given himself the Tour as a 59th birthday present. The photos catch a taste of the spectacular scenery and endless highlights of this Tour.
Jiri Ride and Chill with Bruno March 2007 Bruno and I rode to Jiri for a chilled out long weekend in March 2007. From the edge of the Kathmandu Valley the road clears of traffic and the Swiss built road up to Jiri was as delightful as ever.

The bikes are 350's and handle the steep climbs adequately solo, though riding two-up on a 350 to Jiri is not fun.

Touring Central Nepal With The English Brothers In August 2006 whilst touring north India with Geoff I met two (of three) brothers whom I shall call The English brothers. We rode together for odd days up to and around Ladakh. Later that year in November the three brothers rendezvoused in India and travelled together to Nepal.

Two of the brothers Graham and Gary contacted me and asked if they could do a two-up Tour with me to see some the sights of central Nepal. We rode together for 4 days from Kathmandu to Chitwan and back round the long way to Kathmandu.

The Zanskar Valley summer 2007. Bruno and I set off to explore the Zanskar Valley in the early summer of 2007. Riding up from Delhi through Leh and across to Kargil, positioned us to head into this remote, isolated region to explore the boundaries of Islam and Buddhism.

What we found was arare example of unspoilt towns and villages, people living hard lives eeking a living from small fields and power weather in a region that's cut of sometimes for 8 months of the year.

Lahaul Spiti and the northern reaches of Kinnaur are not always easily accessible. Lahaul Spiti and the northern reaches of Kinnaur are not always easily accessible. The highway climbing up the Satluj river is blocked at times by landslides and in places eroded by the powerful flow of the Satluj river.

It had taken me three attempts to reach Spiti – twice from the south and once from the west, before I made it. Finally reaching the Spiti valley in 2008 was a milestone in my road touring experience and one that for me closed several circles.
Kumaon and Garhwal En-route to Manali My plan was to ride from Manali to Leh. But I had to get to the roadhead first. From Nainital in east Uttarakhand, using only hill roads, there are two states to cross.

The rolling hills of Kumaon towards the end of the monsoon were lush and green. These few pictures plot my course through some of many adventures and experiences. September 2005.
Piers and Cass from Sydney Australia share their photos of the Ladakh Zanskar Kashmir Tour 2008. Piers and Cass from Sydney Australia were adventurous enough to come on Tour with us to explore the northern reaches of Ladakh and Zanskar, culminating in our final run down into Kashmir. 2,500kms of FreeSpirit Adventure.

These are a few of their photos revisiting what Piers later described as “...an amazing journey... to places new and exciting to us, as well as being a great self discovery and confidence inspiring adventure...” Ladakh Zanskar Kashmir, 2008.
Mark discusses cricket with a local police officer en-route to Shimla Mark from Sydney Australia signed up for the tour early in March. His research into Spiti, spectacular photos of the valley, its people and landscapes, had spurred his descision to ride there with us. A professional photographer Mark was constantly presented with stunning photo opportunities; his camera worked overtime for 16 days.

His parting comments commended our team for taking care of a 'demanding customer' and concluded that sometimes really beautiful places are the hardest to reach.
The Paan walla Mark Shapiro rode with us to the Spiti Valley and beyond... These are a small collection of his photos.
Elio shares his photos with school children whilst on Tour in Central Nepal Elio Manca from London came on a Tour Of Central Nepal in November 2009. Riding with Sherap on a circular route taking in Pokhara, Tansen, Lumbini and Chitwan, Sherap sent these first clips of their experiences on the highway.

Some of the pictures show Elio and Sherap at a small school in Rupandehi on the East West Highway towards Lumbini.
