I like to ride for a purpose; most recently I rode to the remote town of Padum, half-way down the Zanskar Valley. I rode to rest a few days in the Nubra valley beyond Khardung La - the world’s highest motor-able road, in north Ladakh. I like to ride to the end of the road, spend time there, meet the people, understand a little about how the community functions and generally relax in peace, quiet and comfort.
I like to ride to places that are still special, places where ancient customs and culture remain unspoilt. I like to ride through spectacular scenery, across mountains and valleys. My tours have traversed over 50,000kms all over north India and much of south India too. India alone, has a vast network of highways and byways stretching through an endless array of landscapes, rockscapes, jungles, forests and deserts. Throw in some wildlife too, which is almost always visible. My tours cover all of north India, east and west. My tours are journeys, adventures through dramatic, wild and beautiful India, through the special places in this vast country. On my tours you'll see some of the most amazing sights anywhere on earth, as well as... taste India’s incredibly varied cuisine, browse through ancient towns, villages and temple complexes, tour the Himalayan Ranges and ride across the More Plains - destination Leh and Ladakh. You'll ride past elephants and tigers and wild boar, explore castles and fortresses, cities made of golden stone…
And last but not least because you want to have fun exploring India on a modern classic motorcycle – A 500cc Royal Enfield front disc brake and electric starter. |
